Colleges of Al-Mustaqbal University Sign Memoranda of Understanding with Their Counterparts at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey, in the Presence of High-Level Officials

On the sidelines of the Second International Conference on Sustainable Development Technologies—and under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Administrative Deputy, Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, and the Cultural Attaché in Ankara, Dr. Maisar Al-Obaidi, and in the presence of university presidents including Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi (President of Al-Mustaqbal University), the President of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmed, the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Al-Attar, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Noor University, Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali—Al-Mustaqbal University took a significant step toward the internationalization of higher education and strengthening global academic cooperation by signing memoranda of understanding between its colleges and their counterparts at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University.
The agreements included the colleges of: Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Education, Sciences, Health and Medical Technologies, Administrative Sciences, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and Arts. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University and the Department of Sustainability and Energy Management at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University.
The Ministry’s Deputy commended this achievement, praising Al-Mustaqbal University’s ambitious initiatives to engage with global academic institutions, in line with the vision of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, to internationalize higher education in Iraq.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry for its support and sponsorship of the event. He emphasized the university’s commitment to implementing the terms of the signed agreements, which cover areas such as joint scientific research, organization of conferences and workshops, academic publishing, faculty exchange, student training, capacity building, curriculum development, and academic program enhancement.
Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmed, President of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, expressed his pride in this collaboration with Al-Mustaqbal University, which enjoys a strong reputation—especially following the progress and promising initiatives he witnessed during his recent visit to the university and his attendance at the third International Al-Mustaqbal Week for Sustainability. He also expressed hope that the fruits of this cooperation will materialize soon.
It is worth noting that the signing ceremony took place during the Second International Conference on Sustainable Development Technologies, organized by the Northern Technical University in partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University and hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey.
