Al-Mustaqbal University College celebrated World Radio Day. Accordingly, under the guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, Media Department and in cooperation with the Students Activity Division organized a remembrance ceremony on Feb 12, 2022. The ceremony included a variety of sections, the national anthem was played and Surat Al-Fatihah was read for the souls of the martyrs. Moreover, three video films were shown, the first about the MUC, the second about the Media Department and the third about the Radio as well as the stages of its establishment. Assistant Professor Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie, Head of the Media Department, delivered the Deanship speech. Then, the academic of the Media Department presented four research papers that show the history, programs and the role of the Arabic language of the Radio. Furthermore, Radio Director, Hafez Mahdi talked about his experience at the Radio. The ceremony was also hosted by the well-known comedian, Dr. Ihsan Daadoush, to talk about his radio and television experience and a wide and comprehensive dialogue has happened between Dr. Ihsan Daadoush, the academic, the students and guests of the ceremony. The guests praised Al-Mustaqbal University College and its development, describing it as a great scientific establishment. At the end of the celebration, the Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi distributed the shields of the College to the guests of the ceremony, the artist Dr. Ihsan Daadoush, the radio director Hafez Mahdi, the representative of the Journalists Syndicate, Babylon branch, and the representative of the Radio and Television Union in Babylon.
