With the Participation of the Quality Assurance Department, Al-Mustaqbal University President Chairs a Meeting to Review Preparations for Upcoming Activities and Events

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the activities and events scheduled for the remainder of the 2025–2026 academic year. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, along with a number of directors of administrative units at the university presidency. The meeting discussed plans for strengthening international partnerships, preparations for upcoming scientific conferences, academic forums, and training programs, as well as proposed initiatives to make optimal use of the summer break through a variety of scientific and developmental activities that support the university’s strategic objectives. The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department also presented key aspects related to quality assurance, institutional and academic accreditation requirements, and ensuring that planned activities and events are aligned with institutional performance indicators and continuous improvement plans. During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of teamwork, effective coordination among all university units, and adherence to implementation schedules to ensure the success of upcoming programs and events, thereby reinforcing Al-Mustaqbal University’s leadership and excellence at both the national and international levels.

In a distinguished academic accomplishment that further strengthens its leading position in higher education, the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the National Program Accreditation Certificate for its Bachelor’s Degree Program, becoming the first law college among Iraq’s private universities to receive this accreditation. Al-Mustaqbal University President Chairs Meeting to Review Summer Program Preparations and Emphasizes Innovation and International Partnerships as Key Drivers of Development

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an extensive meeting to review preparations for the University’s Summer Program, which aims to make productive use of the summer break through the implementation of a comprehensive package of training and development activities targeting faculty members, staff, and students. The program also includes a range of initiatives and community-oriented activities that align with the University’s mission of community service and sustainable development. During the meeting, discussions focused on mechanisms for activating the role of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship by supporting promising ideas and initiatives proposed by students and researchers and transforming them into practical projects capable of contributing to economic development and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi stressed the importance of coordinating efforts and integrating the roles of all academic and administrative units to ensure the successful implementation of the program and the achievement of its objectives. He also emphasized the need to maximize the benefits of the University’s international partnerships with prestigious global universities by activating the provisions of cooperation agreements, particularly in the fields of scientific conferences, workshops, joint research projects, international academic accreditation, and academic mobility for faculty members and students. The University President further affirmed the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives and programs that strengthen its academic and research standing and contribute to building a productive and influential educational environment at both the national and international levels. He also highlighted the importance of the University’s active role in providing scientific solutions to challenges facing various sectors within the province through the effective utilization of research, workshops, case studies, and continuous engagement with public and private institutions, thereby reinforcing the University’s position as a center of expertise, knowledge production, and sustainable development. At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President listened to the participants’ suggestions and observations and provided guidance and recommendations aimed at enhancing implementation mechanisms and ensuring the achievement of the desired outcomes. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi; the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; as well as directors of centers and departments within the University Presidency.

The meeting addressed several key topics, including the advancement of digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives, the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the follow-up of operational plans across academic and research units, all aimed at enhancing institutional performance and supporting the University’s strategic objectives. Al-Mustaqbal University Marks World Accreditation Day with an Academic Workshop Promoting a Culture of Quality and Institutional Excellence

In line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and academic accreditation, and strengthening sound institutional practices, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance organized a specialized workshop in celebration of World Accreditation Day. The event was attended by the heads of Quality Assurance and University Performance Units across the university’s colleges. The workshop was led and presented by Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, who highlighted the latest national and international developments in academic and institutional accreditation. He also emphasized the pivotal role of quality systems in achieving academic sustainability and enhancing university performance in accordance with national and international standards. The workshop featured interactive scientific discussions focusing on the significance of accreditation as a strategic instrument for continuous improvement and on effective approaches to utilizing accreditation outcomes to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, scientific research, and university services. Participants also reviewed best institutional practices that contribute to strengthening the readiness of academic programs and educational institutions for various accreditation requirements. Participants affirmed that World Accreditation Day represents an important opportunity to renew commitment to a culture of excellence and quality, while reflecting the university’s vision of building an integrated academic system founded on continuous improvement, sound governance, and institutional innovation. University Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Participates in Meeting to Activate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Promote a Culture of Creativity

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department participated in an expanded meeting held at Al-Mustaqbal University’s Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision to discuss mechanisms for activating the recently established Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. The center was launched under the initiative of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, with the aim of fostering a culture of innovation and transforming creative ideas into projects with economic and societal impact. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and attended by a number of department directors and stakeholders.
