A Workshop at the College of Health and Medical Techniques Explains the Mechanism for Preparing Compliance Reports. The Quality Assurance Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, in collaboration with the Central Quality Assurance Department, organized a workshop titled "Mechanism for Preparing Compliance Reports," led by the division's head, Professor Dr. Aysam Mohammed, with the attendance of a select group of academics and officials from the college. The workshop focused on explaining the detailed steps for creating a compliance report in accordance with approved standards. Its sessions included: • Clarifying the methodology for drafting self-reports and mechanisms for accurately documenting data. • Designing an improvement plan and ensuring its alignment with local and international quality standards. • Presenting the basic structure of a compliance report and the key elements to be included. • Discussing the challenges faced by teams during preparation and proposing practical solutions. The event aimed to unify mechanisms among academic departments and ensure the efficient application of accreditation standards.

Al-Mustaqbal University is actively preparing for the third edition of the Future Week for Sustainability, set to take place in mid-April 2025. University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, held extensive meetings with academic and administrative leaders to oversee the final preparations. The festival will feature scientific conferences, workshops, and academic forums, along with exhibitions and student-led initiatives, in collaboration with local and international universities. The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a workshop titled “Laboratory Classification Based on Risk Levels,” with the participation of quality officers, laboratory supervisors, and lab assistants, aiming to enhance safety standards in educational laboratories. The workshop covered mechanisms for classifying laboratories based on the risk levels of the materials used, risk mitigation procedures, and the impact of laboratory incidents. It also emphasized the importance of adhering to specialized protocols, using personal protective equipment, and training on first aid procedures. This workshop is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to improve laboratory quality, promote a culture of safety, and implement the highest international standards.

University of Al-Mustaqbal Participates in ISLM 2025 International Conference

As part of its commitment to enhancing education quality and achieving academic excellence, University of Al-Mustaqbal actively participated in the 1st International Sustainability Leaders Meeting (ISLM 2025), organized by UI GreenMetric and hosted by Abu Dhabi University from February 26-27, 2025. Notably, it was the only Iraqi university represented at this prestigious event. The university was represented by the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, who engaged in discussions with leading academics and experts on institutional performance enhancement, fostering research collaborations, and improving the university’s global rankings.
