The Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in a Training Workshop on Education Quality Assurance under the Bologna Process

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing the competencies of its staff and keeping pace with the latest international standards in quality assurance and academic accreditation, a delegation from the Quality Assurance Department participated in a training workshop organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The workshop focused on the mechanisms for implementing the Bologna Process in Iraqi universities and its role in improving the quality of higher education and aligning its outcomes with labor market needs. The Bologna Process is a globally recognized educational framework aimed at harmonizing higher education systems and enhancing international recognition of academic degrees, thereby providing students with greater mobility opportunities among universities worldwide. It also emphasizes practical and applied skills development. The workshop covered several key topics, including: ✔️ Principles of quality assurance under the Bologna Process. ✔️ Academic performance indicators and implementation mechanisms. ✔️ The future vision of the Bologna Process in Iraq. ✔️ Performance evaluation based on modern standards. ✔️ Preparing reports on education quality assurance. The Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in this workshop as part of its ongoing efforts to implement best practices in quality assurance and academic accreditation, contributing to enhancing the quality of higher education and strengthening the university’s competitiveness both locally and internationally.

A Member of the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the 8th International Scientific Conference at Al-Mustansiriyah University

Researcher Sama Safaa Mousa, a member of the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the 8th International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Administration and Economics at Al-Mustansiriyah University, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi universities. During the conference, Sama Safaa Mousa presented two scientific papers. The first, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Talent Management,” explored the role of intelligent technologies in enhancing human resource management strategies and improving work environments through digital analysis and effective decision-making. The second paper, titled “The Role of Digital Leadership in Reducing Quiet Quitting Among Employees of the Iraqi National Bank,” examined the impact of digital leadership styles in enhancing employee engagement and mitigating quiet quitting by improving the work environment and supporting employees. This participation underscores Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and strengthening the role of its staff in addressing contemporary administrative and economic issues, contributing to the development of work environments and achieving institutional sustainability

The Quality Assurance Department, in Coordination with the Scientific Affairs Department, Organizes a Panel Discussion on International Rankings

The Quality Assurance Department, in coordination with the Scientific Affairs Department at Al Mustaqbal University, organized a panel discussion hosting Mr. Rami Awad, the Regional Director of QS for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. The session focused on strategies to enhance the university’s performance in international rankings. The discussion was attended by the Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, college deans, and directors of scientific and quality assurance departments, who exchanged insights on improving academic and research competitiveness. The Quality Assurance Department remains committed to supporting academic excellence and strengthening the university’s global position in line with the latest standards of quality and innovation.

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance quality and academic accreditation, the Quality Assurance Department participated in a workshop organized by the American University in Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB) titled “Internal Audit and Its Role in Enhancing the Implementation of Institutional Accreditation Standards.” The workshop covered the latest internal audit methods and its role in improving institutional performance and adhering to international standards, reflecting our commitment to sharing expertise and applying best practices in developing an outstanding educational environment.

Head of the Quality Assurance Division at Al-Mustaqbal University Leads a Training Course at the Ministry of Oil

As part of the ongoing collaboration between Al-Mustaqbal University and government institutions, Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the university, delivered the first lecture of a specialized training course organized by the Petroleum Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Oil. The course, titled “Mechanisms for Using the LaTeX Typesetting Program in Scientific Article Writing,” aimed to equip participants with advanced skills in preparing and formatting academic and technical documents.

The Performance Evaluation Division has carried out an audit process for the College of Health and Medical Technologies and its various departments. This aims to review performance evaluation files and verify the accuracy of the entered information, ensuring its alignment with supporting documents. This step comes as part of the college s commitment to enhancing transparency and quality in performance evaluation processes, ensuring that documents comply with the required criteria. The audit included a thorough review of all relevant documents and records to achieve the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.

The Quality Assurance Department Holds an Online Meeting with College Quality Officers to Discuss Development and Improvement

The Quality Assurance Department held an online meeting with college quality officers to discuss ways to enhance academic and administrative performance and strengthen academic accreditation standards within the university. The meeting included discussions on the latest developments and challenges in implementing quality standards, as well as reviewing future improvement plans and exchanging successful experiences among colleges. Emphasis was placed on the importance of adhering to quality assurance standards to achieve institutional excellence and enhance the university’s position in international rankings.

The Accreditation Division at the Quality Assurance department, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies, organized a series of training workshops.

The Accreditation Division at the Quality Assurance department, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies, organized a series of training workshops. These workshops lasted for five days covering the national standards for accrediting the programs of colleges and institutes of health and medical technologies in Iraq, at a rate of two standards per day. Dr. Aysem Mahmoud, head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, presented lectures during the workshops. Attendees of these workshops were all committees in charge of monitoring standards, with each committee taking responsibility for documenting the standard under their supervision. The workshops Also included a detailed review of the criteria and their associated elements, with a comprehensive explanation of all indicators and a statement of the evidence supporting each of them.
