Scientific Workshop on Program Accreditation at the College of Dentistry

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department organized a scientific workshop at the College of Dentistry on program accreditation, delivered by Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Head of the Quality Assurance Division. The workshop covered the importance of program accreditation in enhancing higher education quality, evaluation criteria, and the steps required to achieve accreditation in line with the latest international standards. The event was attended by faculty members and professionals interested in academic quality, who actively engaged with the speaker and discussed the implementation of accreditation in academic programs. Director of Quality Assurance Participates in the Shanghai Ranking Workshop at the University of Baghdad

The Director of the Quality Assurance Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the central workshop on the Shanghai Ranking for Universities and Academic Disciplines, organized by the Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation and hosted by the University of Baghdad. The workshop aimed to discuss the Shanghai Ranking criteria, analyze the academic and research performance of Iraqi universities, and explore effective strategies to enhance their standings in international rankings. During the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Fatlawi provided an in-depth explanation of the strengths and weaknesses in the academic and research performance of Iraqi universities, along with strategies to improve research quality and increase publications in high-impact international journals. This participation aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in global rankings and achieve academic and research excellence in accordance with international standards.

Al-Mustaqbal University University Leads the Iraqi University Ranking for Three Consecutive Years

Al-Mustaqbal University continues to solidify its leadership position among private universities in Iraq, achieving remarkable milestones in the Iraqi University Ranking over the past three years: • 2022: Ranked 1st among 47 private universities. • 2023: Ranked 2nd among 58 private universities. • 2024: Regained the 1st position among 63 private universities. This achievement reflects the strategic vision of the University President prof. Dr. Hasan Majdi , whose outstanding leadership and ambitious outlook have driven the university to meet the highest academic and administrative quality standards. The Quality Assurance Department has played a pivotal role in implementing development plans and ensuring adherence to international standards, significantly contributing to the university’s distinguished position in this prestigious ranking. The Accreditation Division in the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance

The Accreditation Division in the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, in collaboration with the College of Health and Medical Technologies, organized a series of training workshops that lasted for five days. These workshops covered the national standards for accrediting programs of health and medical technology colleges and institutes in Iraq, with two standards addressed each day. Professor Dr. Aseem Mahmoud, Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, delivered the lectures during the workshops, which were attended by all committees responsible for monitoring the standards. Each committee was tasked with documenting the standard assigned to it. The workshops included a detailed review of the standards and their associated elements, with a comprehensive explanation of all indicators and the supporting evidence for each.

University Al-Mustaqbal University celebrates obtaining institutional accreditation and achieving the first rank in the Iraqi national ranking

Al-Mustaqbal University held a special celebration to mark its achievement of obtaining institutional accreditation and to honor the efforts of its colleges and departments that achieved the first rank in the Iraqi national ranking. These accomplishments are a testament to the university's commitment to academic excellence and providing the highest levels of education and research. The celebration was attended by several academic and administrative figures, as well as students, where the teams that contributed to these successes were honored."

Internal Audit Committee at QA Department Visit to College of Dentistry

The Internal Audit Committee from the Quality Assurance (QA) Department at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted its second visit to the College of Dentistry on Saturday, May 5th. During the visit, a meeting was held with representatives from the College of Dentistry. Committee members included four individuals. The purpose of the visit was to verify the accuracy of documentation regarding program accreditation requirements and review files related to the seven criteria submitted by the College of Dentistry for program accreditation.

Al-Mustaqbal University signed a memorandum of scientific and cultural understanding with Mosul University

A delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University, including Mr. Mazhar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision and Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of Quality Assurance, visited Mosul University. The delegation was received by Mr. Qusay Al-Ahmedi, President of Mosul University, and his scientific assistant, Dr. Munir Salem. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the possibility of cooperation and coordination in several areas of mutual interest. Afterward, a memorandum of scientific and cultural understanding was signed between the two parties.
