Al-Mustaqbal University distinguished itself during its participation in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) 2026 through a remarkable and prestigious presence that reflects its leading position. The university inaugurated its pavilion at the international exhibition held in Istanbul on 7/4/2027, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by a high-level academic delegation, and with wide participation from leading international universities and educational institutions. The university pavilion witnessed significant attendance and a high-profile official visit from the Turkish Minister of Higher Education, accompanied by the President of the Association of Eurasian Universities, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydin, and the President of the Association of Arab Universities, Prof. Dr. Amr Salama, along with several academic and governmental figures from various countries around the world. They were impressed by the university’s most prominent scientific and academic achievements and its innovative initiatives in education, scientific research, and sustainability. The Turkish Minister of Higher Education expressed his great admiration for the advanced level the university has achieved, praising its distinguished academic reputation and strong regional and international presence. Meanwhile, the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, expressed his deep pride in this high-level visit, affirming that this international recognition serves as a strong motivation to continue advancing development and strengthening the university’s global standing. This distinction comes within the university’s ambitious vision to expand international cooperation and build effective strategic partnerships, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), with Al-Mustaqbal University being the first among private universities in Iraq.
