On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed the activities of the second day of its annual Handicrafts Bazaar—the first of its kind among Iraqi universities and colleges—with wide participation from talented individuals and small business owners. The bazaar showcased a distinguished selection of handmade works and crafts, reflecting the creativity and diverse skills of the participants, who had the opportunity to display and sell their products within the university premises. This event aims to support talented individuals and empower them economically by providing financial returns, as well as serving as a stimulating platform for networking and exchanging experiences, and enhancing young people’s opportunities to market their products and reach a wider customer base. The organization of this bazaar reflects the university’s commitment to supporting youth initiatives and developing small projects, thereby fostering a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship within the university community. This activity is aligned with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and reaffirms Al-Mustaqbal University’s pioneering role in supporting youth potential and promoting community development. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
