In the presence of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Assistant Professor Azhar Mohsen Obeid, members of the University Council, the Scientific and Academic Supervisor, directors of research centers, and the Continuing Education Center, Al-Mustaqbal University Council held its ninth session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., chaired by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, at the University Council Hall, to discuss academic development and strengthening international openness. The session gave special attention to the students who participated in the training program organized in cooperation with Alanya Alaaddin University. The University President praised the students’ academic and cultural performance, emphasizing that such participation represents an important step toward the internationalization of higher education and strengthening the university’s presence in international forums. The University President also stressed the importance of activating cooperation agreements with international universities and transforming them into effective programs and projects that contribute to developing the academic and research environment. He noted that this responsibility requires integration among colleges, research centers, and the university presidency to achieve shared goals. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of developing the university’s websites to reflect a modern institutional identity and enhance communication with both local and international communities, in addition to ensuring suitable conditions for midterm examinations to maintain the highest standards of educational quality. These efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, continues its pursuit of academic excellence and global engagement.
