The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an extensive meeting to review preparations for the University’s Summer Program, which aims to make productive use of the summer break through the implementation of a comprehensive package of training and development activities targeting faculty members, staff, and students. The program also includes a range of initiatives and community-oriented activities that align with the University’s mission of community service and sustainable development. During the meeting, discussions focused on mechanisms for activating the role of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship by supporting promising ideas and initiatives proposed by students and researchers and transforming them into practical projects capable of contributing to economic development and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi stressed the importance of coordinating efforts and integrating the roles of all academic and administrative units to ensure the successful implementation of the program and the achievement of its objectives. He also emphasized the need to maximize the benefits of the University’s international partnerships with prestigious global universities by activating the provisions of cooperation agreements, particularly in the fields of scientific conferences, workshops, joint research projects, international academic accreditation, and academic mobility for faculty members and students. The University President further affirmed the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives and programs that strengthen its academic and research standing and contribute to building a productive and influential educational environment at both the national and international levels. He also highlighted the importance of the University’s active role in providing scientific solutions to challenges facing various sectors within the province through the effective utilization of research, workshops, case studies, and continuous engagement with public and private institutions, thereby reinforcing the University’s position as a center of expertise, knowledge production, and sustainable development. At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President listened to the participants’ suggestions and observations and provided guidance and recommendations aimed at enhancing implementation mechanisms and ensuring the achievement of the desired outcomes. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi; the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; as well as directors of centers and departments within the University Presidency.
