The Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Azher Mohsen Abd, welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Solar Energy Development Company (SSTDC) in his office.

Discussions were held on potential areas of cooperation in the field of solar energy. Dr. Azher Mohsen Abd emphasized the university’s commitment to adopting renewable energy as a core component of its comprehensive strategy to achieve sustainability goals.

The Dean also accompanied the delegation on a tour of the Energy Research Center and Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center, where the delegation praised the university's remarkable achievements in solar and renewable energy applications.

The Chinese company expressed its eagerness to collaborate with the university to enhance renewable energy technologies and develop joint projects that align with sustainability objectives.

At the end of the meeting, the Dean presented the university’s shield to the guest as a token of appreciation, expressing his hope for further fruitful collaboration between the two parties in the future.
