Mustaqbal Team for Community Services – Mustaqbal University

Under the supervision and support of the President of Mustaqbal University and the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Techniques, the Mustaqbal Team for Community Services was established to serve as a pioneering model in volunteer work and to enhance the social responsibility of students and faculty members. The team provides support to underprivileged families in Babil Governorate through the implementation of home renovation and construction projects, improving the living environment of needy families.

Vision

To make Mustaqbal University a leader in community services and sustainable development, focusing on utilizing engineering and technology to find practical and sustainable solutions for the community.

Goals

✔ Achieve sustainable development through engineering projects aimed at improving the living conditions of needy families.
✔ Strengthen the spirit of social responsibility among students by involving them in volunteer work and community initiatives.
✔ Utilize engineering expertise to address infrastructure and housing issues for underprivileged families.
✔ Enhance community partnerships by launching sustainable initiatives that benefit the most vulnerable groups.
✔ Support engineering innovation by developing low-cost and sustainable solutions in construction and renovation.

Implemented Projects

🔹 First Project: Under the supervision and follow-up of the Department of Power Mechanics Engineering, the renovation of a house for an underprivileged family in Al-Shumayli was completed, contributing to improving their living conditions.
🔹 Second Project: Under the supervision and follow-up of the Department of Construction and Building Techniques, renovation work was carried out for a house for an underprivileged family in Al-Abi Gharq, providing them with a safe and stable living environment.

"Ambassadors of Sustainability" – Mustaqbal University Initiative

This project is part of Mustaqbal University's leading initiatives, where the university launched the "Ambassadors of Sustainability" program aimed at enhancing the role of students in achieving sustainable development goals through innovative community projects. The Mustaqbal Team for Community Services is a key part of this initiative, working on developing sustainable engineering solutions to improve quality of life and promote environmental and social responsibility among students.
