The Council of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies Holds Its Regular Session to Follow Up on the Educational Process
The College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, the First in Iraq, held its regular council session on Sunday, May 11, 2025, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Azher Mohsin Abd, Dean of the College, with the attendance of heads of scientific departments and administrative unit leaders.
The session addressed several key topics, most notably the progress of final examinations and ensuring their smooth implementation in accordance with ministerial regulations. It also included discussions on the implementation of the Bologna Process, the evaluation of faculty performance in terms of academic commitment and educational quality, and the use of student feedback collected through in-class surveys to enhance the learning environment.
The council further reviewed the status of the academic departments and emphasized the importance of completing all administrative and academic requirements in preparation for the upcoming semester.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean stressed the importance of teamwork, fostering a culture of quality, and promoting sustainable development. These efforts align with the goals of modern higher education and contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
