The Council of the College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University held a meeting chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, with the attendance of all council members, to discuss preparations for the commencement of the new academic year.
The meeting addressed the distribution of courses among the teaching staff, identifying the necessary requirements to create an integrated educational environment, in addition to reviewing and discussing students’ graduation projects. The council also discussed the plans of the scientific departments, which included:
• The scientific research plan.
• Academic activities.
• Contributions to sustainability initiatives.
The plans presented by the scientific departments were discussed in detail, where the Dean emphasized the importance of continuing the remarkable achievements accomplished by the college during the past academic year and working on further developing them in a way that serves students’ academic journey and elevates the college towards greater academic and research excellence.
This meeting comes within the college’s efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by ensuring an effective learning environment that contributes to preparing a creative generation capable of meeting labor market requirements and contributing to community service.
