Dean’s Message
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Technical Engineering College at AL-Mustaqbal University, this distinguished academic institution that moves confidently toward academic and research excellence, striving to prepare qualified engineering and technical cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in engineering and modern technologies.
The College is committed to providing an advanced educational environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking while supporting students’ practical and applied skills through modern curricula aligned with quality assurance standards, academic accreditation requirements, and labor market needs. The College also places significant emphasis on scientific research and innovation, encouraging the implementation of applied projects and active participation in scientific activities that contribute to community service and the achievement of sustainable development.

The College of Engineering Technology and its departments have achieved advanced rankings in the Iraqi National Classification for three consecutive years, securing leading positions among corresponding departments in both public and private universities. This reflects the high quality of academic performance and the effectiveness of its educational programs.
The College departments have also demonstrated outstanding results in evaluative and unified examinations. The Department of Mechanical Power Engineering, for example, achieved success rates ranging between 85% and 90% in evaluative subjects compared to corresponding departments, which is a clear indicator of the efficiency of the curricula and the competence of the teaching staff.
As part of enhancing quality and professional accreditation, the College departments have obtained accreditation from the Iraqi Engineers Union and the Union of Arab Engineers, further strengthening their academic and professional standing at both the local and Arab levels.

Future University has achieved a remarkable global accomplishment by ranking first worldwide in SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) within the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, reflecting its strong commitment to sustainability and innovation.
