The Technical Engineering College at Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed the signing of a joint scientific cooperation memorandum with the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology in Baghdad on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University. This took place during an official visit by a university delegation headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Technical Engineering College, and attended by official academic delegations from both sides. The signing ceremony was held and scientific meetings were conducted to explore prospects for joint cooperation. The event included discussions on ways to enhance academic and research collaboration, support joint scientific projects, develop supervision for postgraduate students, and organize scientific activities. The available laboratory equipment and measuring devices were also reviewed, with the aim of utilizing them to support applied research and raise the efficiency of scientific research. This initiative aims to strengthen scientific partnerships and exchange expertise between the two institutions, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). The delegation also visited the Presidency of the University of Technology in Baghdad and met with its president, where both sides emphasized the importance of continuing scientific cooperation. This initiative affirms the role of Al-Mustaqbal University in advancing higher education and scientific research by engaging with reputable academic institutions.
