In a significant step reflecting its growing international academic standing, Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a Letter of Intent with the University of Reading, one of the United Kingdom’s prestigious universities. The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of the university’s ongoing strategy to expand international cooperation and foster academic and research partnerships with leading global institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Qusai Al-Ahmadi, Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, alongside a distinguished delegation from the University of Reading comprising senior academic and administrative leaders specializing in international relations, scientific research, and international student recruitment. The discussions focused on several strategic areas aimed at establishing a sustainable academic partnership between the two institutions. These included the development of joint academic programs, exploration of double-degree and academic progression pathways, provision of scholarships and student benefits, and the expansion of cooperation in scientific research, joint research projects, and the exchange of academic expertise and knowledge.
