Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new international academic milestone through its inclusion in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, securing a position in the 1201–1400 global band among 2,297 universities across 118 countries and territories. This achievement reflects the development of its academic and research performance and strengthens its standing within international higher education indicators. The university recorded outstanding results at the national level, achieving the following positions: First place among Iraqi private universities. Second place among Iraqi public universities outside the Kurdistan Region, according to the announced results. Second place nationally in the International Outlook indicator. Fifth place in the Research Environment indicator. Sixth place in the Research Quality indicator. This achievement reflects the university’s efforts to improve the quality of education, strengthen research output, expand international academic cooperation, and continuously enhance institutional performance indicators and global competitiveness.
