The Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University has enriched its engineering library with a new scientific publication by Lecturer Mr. Musaddaq Maher Abdul-Zahra, entitled:
Foundations of Digital Communications: Theory, Solved Problems and MATLAB Laboratory
The book focuses on digital communications, presenting the fundamental principles of information transmission and the techniques of coding, modulation, and detection. It also includes mathematical analyses, engineering applications, and solved problems that help clarify scientific concepts and deepen students’ practical understanding.
The publication aims to provide an academic resource that combines theoretical explanations with engineering practice, helping students in communications, computer, electrical, and electronic engineering disciplines understand digital systems and their operating principles. It also serves as a useful reference for self-learning and the development of professional and scientific skills.
The book has been prepared in alignment with the academic curricula and course requirements of Iraqi universities, making it a valuable educational reference for students, graduates, engineers, and researchers in communications and technology-related fields.
The first edition was published in 2026 by Al-Rayahin Publishing and Distribution House. It carries the International Standard Book Number (ISBN: 978-9922-5648-8-3) and Library Deposit Number 5656 for 2026 at the Iraqi National Library and Archives in Baghdad.
This publication represents a scientific contribution to the development of specialized academic resources in digital communications and supports the advancement of scientific authorship in engineering and technological fields.
