During Global Entrepreneurship Week, as part of the Entrepreneurship Forum, a scientific seminar was organized and presented by Dr. Musadek Maher Abdul Zahra under the title "Technological Incubators and Their Role in Entrepreneurship." The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of technological incubators and science parks in fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurs across various sectors.<br /><br />The seminar began with an introduction to technological incubators and science parks, explaining their role in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The lecturer discussed the history of technological incubators worldwide, demonstrating how they contributed to the development of countries by providing technical and financial support to emerging startups, and promoting innovation and economic growth.<br /><br />The seminar then covered the different types of technological incubators, explaining the main components that make up a typical technological incubator, such as providing suitable workspaces, offering technical consulting, assisting in product marketing, and supporting the financing of emerging projects.<br /><br />The Iranian experience with technological incubators and science parks was also presented. Dr. Zahra shared insights from his visit to these incubators in Iran, detailing how they are managed and highlighting their success in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. This gave the audience a chance to learn from successful international models.<br /><br />At the conclusion of the seminar, a summary of key recommendations and proposals for establishing a model science park and technological incubator at Future University was shared. The recommendations emphasized the need to create a supportive environment for innovation and to provide the necessary financial and technical resources to support emerging technological projects. The discussion also covered the feasibility of applying these recommendations at the university and how to benefit from international experiences in building a distinctive entrepreneurship ecosystem.<br /><br />The seminar concluded with an interactive session where ideas and discussions were exchanged about how to implement these concepts at Future University and support creative youth in the field of entrepreneurship.
