Conducting a Survey on the Role of the Internet in Supporting the Educational Process at the University

The department conducted, as part of its scientific activities, a survey titled “The Role of the Internet in Supporting the Educational Process at the University” on April 21, 2026, with the participation of a number of students from different academic levels. The survey aimed to identify the extent to which students rely on the internet in supporting their academic learning, and its role in facilitating access to scientific resources such as online lectures, digital books, and educational platforms. It also focused on evaluating the quality of internet services on campus and their impact on students’ academic achievement and interaction with course materials. The survey included several aspects, such as students’ use of educational platforms, the effect of internet speed on studying, and the role of technology in developing research and self-learning skills. The activity showed positive engagement from students, reflecting the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational environment. This activity comes within the department’s efforts to promote digital education and keep pace with technological developments that contribute to improving the quality of education and enhancing students’ competencies, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities.
