The healthcare sector is witnessing rapid development in the use of artificial intelligence and predictive algorithms, which have become important tools in supporting the advancement of precision and personalized medicine. These technologies enable the analysis of vast amounts of medical data and the identification of patterns and indicators that may help physicians detect diseases at an early stage, even before clear symptoms appear. Predictive algorithms rely on machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze various sources of medical data, including medical images, electronic health records, vital signs, and laboratory test results. This analysis helps identify subtle relationships and patterns that may be difficult to detect through conventional methods, thereby supporting diagnosis and medical decision-making. The importance of these technologies is particularly evident in the early detection of complex diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders. They can also help estimate the likelihood of developing certain chronic diseases in the future. This contributes to a shift from a healthcare model focused on treating diseases after they emerge toward a more proactive model based on prediction, prevention, and personalized care according to each patient’s needs. The role of predictive algorithms is not limited to diagnosis; it also extends to improving the management of healthcare institutions by forecasting patient numbers, bed requirements, hospital admission rates, and certain potential risks associated with medical procedures and surgeries. With the integration of these algorithms into Intelligent Medical Systems, healthcare is moving toward a more data-driven model that combines rapid analysis, accurate information, and support for medical decision-making. Thus, predictive algorithms represent one of the promising pathways toward building the future of healthcare based on early diagnosis, prevention, personalized care, and AI-supported medical decisions.
