Al-Mustaqbal University is preparing to launch an upcoming scientific seminar on the occasion of , which is celebrated annually on April 26, as part of its efforts to promote a culture of innovation and protect intellectual property rights within the academic community. The seminar will be held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. , and organized by the Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision in cooperation with the Department of Cultural Relations, under the title: “Iraqi Patents: Figures and Indicators.” It aims to analyze the state of innovation in Iraq and present key statistics and indicators related to patents. The seminar is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Student Activities Hall at the Medical Building, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and those interested in scientific affairs. This event is held under the slogan: “Intellectual Property and Sports: Be Ready, Get Set, Innovate,” aiming to highlight the importance of intellectual property in supporting innovation—particularly in the sports field—and to raise awareness of its role in fostering creativity and transforming ideas into applicable projects.
