Director of Scientific Supervision Visits AI Literacy Training Program and Emphasizes Commitment to the Training Process

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the University's continuous follow-up of its training programs, the Director of Scientific Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, paid an inspection visit to the third week of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program (Foundation Level) for Groups Three and Four, organized by the Continuing Education Center. During the visit, Professor Dr. Al-Zuhairi reviewed the progress of the training sessions and observed the interaction between the trainers and participants. He commended the Continuing Education Center for its outstanding efforts in organizing high-quality training programs that enhance digital competencies and promote the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in academic and administrative environments. He also met with the trainees and stressed the importance of attending all training sessions, actively participating in the learning activities, and making the best use of the program's scientific and practical content. He noted that these courses play a vital role in developing participants' professional capabilities and preparing them to keep pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence. The Continuing Education Center Continues the Third Week of AI Literacy Training Courses.

**Under the Patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi,** The activities of the **Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program**, organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, continue as the **third week** of the **Foundation Level** commenced for Groups Three and Four. The training program aims to enhance the AI knowledge and practical skills of the University's staff members, enabling them to keep pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence technologies and applications. At the beginning of the sessions, the Director of the Continuing Education Center, **Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi**, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of making the most of the training program. He highlighted its significant role in strengthening digital competencies and empowering participants to effectively utilize AI tools and technologies in academic and administrative environments. Professor Dr. Abdul-Nadawi also reviewed the course schedule, outlined the educational and training objectives, and explained the key guidelines and recommendations that participants are expected to follow throughout the program. Under the patronage and guidance of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in recognition of the outstanding efforts of the University's staff, His Excellency directed the issuance of a Letter of Appreciation and Commendation to Assistant Lecturer Sadiq Abdul Latif. Artificial Intelligence Literacy Program – Beginner Level (A1)

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course, organized by the Center for Continuing Education, continues its lecture series. The course is designed for the University's staff and faculty members during the summer break, with the aim of enhancing their skills in utilizing artificial intelligence applications and technologies in both academic and administrative fields. This course reflects the University's commitment to maximizing the benefits of modern digital and intelligent technologies to improve productivity, enhance performance, strengthen institutional quality, support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and advance the smart digital transformation initiatives adopted by the University's leadership. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the first batch of trainees in the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course – Level One (A1), which was organized as part of the university’s plan to train and qualify its staff during the summer break. The program was held under the generous patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi. The course lasted for one full week, comprising five training days, and included a range of theoretical topics and practical applications in the field of artificial intelligence. It was delivered through a blended learning approach that combined in-person and online training, aiming to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required in this vital field. At the conclusion of the course, participants shared their impressions and feedback through training program evaluation forms, which reflected a high level of satisfaction with both the course content and its implementation methods. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Nursing and First Aid”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ismael Mohammed Kadhem Al-Saadi. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop healthcare skills and promote first aid awareness across different segments of society. The course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in nursing and first aid, enabling them to effectively respond to emergency situations and provide primary healthcare support in both professional and community settings. The course targets medical staff, company employees, university students, government sector workers, as well as anyone interested in acquiring life-saving skills and fundamental nursing practices. The training program covers several key topics, including: measuring vital signs accurately, administering intramuscular and intravenous injections, dealing with fractures, trauma, and bleeding, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, administering intravenous fluids, handling burns, wounds, and choking cases, as well as wound suturing techniques, diagnosis of common emergency cases, and the basics of pharmacology and emergency medications. The course is conducted in-person at the laboratories of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, with a total of 16 training hours distributed over four days (two days per week), starting from May 2, 2026. This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Continuing Education Center, aiming to develop human capacities, enhance health awareness, and improve individuals’ readiness to respond to emergency situations.
