The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, visited the Continuing Education Center to review its activities and ongoing programs during the summer break. During the visit, he held a meeting with the center’s staff and its Director, Mr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nidawi, to discuss the current training courses, development programs, and ways to enhance their role in serving the community and improving the skills of students and employees. Dr. Hassan emphasized the importance of continuously developing training programs and expanding scientific and professional activities in line with labor market requirements and modern developments. At the conclusion of the meeting, he directed the center to increase the number of specialized professional courses and introduce innovative training programs that contribute to skill development and strengthen the scientific and professional competencies of participants, supporting the university’s vision of achieving academic excellence and serving the community.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wael Jabbar Abed Al-Nidawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Training Program has officially commenced. The program is organized by the Continuing Education Center and will be delivered on a weekly basis throughout the summer vacation period. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to enhancing digital competencies and promoting the effective and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence technologies among its academic staff, employees, and students. The program adopts a structured six-level framework designed to accommodate participants with varying levels of AI knowledge and experience. The training levels are as follows: AI Awareness Course (A1) AI Basic User Course (A2) AI Intermediate User Course (B1) AI Advanced User Course (B2) AI Professional User Course (C1) AI Expert User Course (C2) Participants are assigned to the appropriate level through a pre-course assessment that evaluates their existing AI knowledge and practical competencies. This approach ensures a personalized learning pathway and maximizes the effectiveness of the training experience. The program aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and ethical awareness required to utilize AI technologies effectively in education, research, administration, and professional practice. It also supports the University’s strategic vision for digital transformation and innovation, while fostering a future-ready academic community capable of adapting to emerging technological developments. Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, followed up on the activities of the university’s scientific centers and innovation system, emphasizing their vital role in supporting the university’s academic and research mission and strengthening its position in national and international rankings. The Continuing Education Center received a delegation from the College of Dentistry to present and discuss the plan for the upcoming summer program, as well as to explore opportunities for joint collaboration between both sides. During the visit, both parties discussed the implementation of several training courses and development programs throughout the summer break, aiming to enhance students’ scientific and practical skills and expand their applied experience. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held an organizational meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2026, attended by members of the administrative units and divisions, to discuss mechanisms for developing administrative and organizational work and approving the Center’s organizational structure in line with work requirements and future development plans. The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional work and organizing responsibilities among the administrative units and divisions in a way that enhances performance efficiency and ensures smooth implementation of training programs and scientific activities. The meeting also reviewed the tasks of the Administrative and Financial Unit, which include organizing administrative and financial work, following up on official correspondence and administrative documents, managing revenues and expenditures, preparing financial and administrative reports, as well as following up on staff affairs and organizing records. In addition, the responsibilities of the Training Division were discussed, including preparing annual training plans, proposing suitable training courses, organizing scientific and developmental workshops and seminars, following up on the implementation of training programs, and developing the skills of staff members and students. The meeting further addressed the duties of the Development, Accreditation, and Quality Division, which include monitoring the quality of educational and training programs, supervising developmental activities, introducing modern programs, overseeing e-learning programs, following up on quality and accreditation standards, and supporting self-generated resources related to training programs. The tasks of the Digital Transformation and Performance Evaluation Division were also reviewed, including evaluating institutional performance, supporting digital transformation within the institution, implementing KPI standards for performance measurement, developing electronic systems and automating procedures, in addition to preparing performance reports and recommendations. At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of teamwork and the continuous development of administrative and organizational performance in order to achieve the goals of the Continuing Education Center and serve both the university and the community.
