The Continuing Education Center Participates in Al-Mustaqbal University’s Strategic Meeting Towards a Productive University and Sustainable Innovation

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the strategic meeting chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, in the presence of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, along with directors of research centers and the Science and Technology Parks Department. The meeting aimed to discuss mechanisms for improving institutional performance and developing a roadmap for the next phase in line with sustainable development goals. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on adopting a modern strategy that would transform the university into a productive institution through supporting entrepreneurial projects and strengthening partnerships with both public and private sectors. The discussions also highlighted the importance of launching innovative initiatives to address major challenges related to energy, climate change, and health. The meeting further stressed the importance of developing specialized training programs aimed at building capacities and enhancing skills for various segments of society, reinforcing the university’s role in knowledge production and community service. The participation of the Continuing Education Center emphasized the significance of advancing training and qualification programs and expanding cooperation with different sectors in alignment with the university’s vision of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and a modern educational and research environment. The meeting also included presentations on the most prominent activities and achievements accomplished by the centers during the previous period and their role in supporting the university’s academic and research mission, in addition to emphasizing teamwork and integration among various disciplines. The Continuing Education Center Holds an Organizational Meeting to Approve the Administrative Structure and Distribute Tasks

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held an organizational meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2026, attended by members of the administrative units and divisions, to discuss mechanisms for developing administrative and organizational work and approving the Center’s organizational structure in line with work requirements and future development plans. The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional work and organizing responsibilities among the administrative units and divisions in a way that enhances performance efficiency and ensures smooth implementation of training programs and scientific activities. The meeting also reviewed the tasks of the Administrative and Financial Unit, which include organizing administrative and financial work, following up on official correspondence and administrative documents, managing revenues and expenditures, preparing financial and administrative reports, as well as following up on staff affairs and organizing records. In addition, the responsibilities of the Training Division were discussed, including preparing annual training plans, proposing suitable training courses, organizing scientific and developmental workshops and seminars, following up on the implementation of training programs, and developing the skills of staff members and students. The meeting further addressed the duties of the Development, Accreditation, and Quality Division, which include monitoring the quality of educational and training programs, supervising developmental activities, introducing modern programs, overseeing e-learning programs, following up on quality and accreditation standards, and supporting self-generated resources related to training programs. The tasks of the Digital Transformation and Performance Evaluation Division were also reviewed, including evaluating institutional performance, supporting digital transformation within the institution, implementing KPI standards for performance measurement, developing electronic systems and automating procedures, in addition to preparing performance reports and recommendations. At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of teamwork and the continuous development of administrative and organizational performance in order to achieve the goals of the Continuing Education Center and serve both the university and the community.

Al-Mustaqbal University Holds Recognition Ceremony “Giving Deserves Appreciation” to Promote Institutional Excellence

Al-Mustaqbal University organized a distinguished recognition ceremony under the theme “Giving Deserves Appreciation” on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the University Presidency Hall, in the presence of a number of academic and administrative leaders, in an atmosphere marked by appreciation and celebration of achievements. This ceremony came as part of the University’s commitment to supporting digital excellence and recognizing the efforts made to develop the academic and administrative environment, as well as strengthening the role of its members in achieving sustainable development goals. The ceremony included honoring website administrators who participated in the recent training course, in recognition of their contributions to enhancing the University’s digital interface and improving the quality of electronic services. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to distinguished staff members and students who demonstrated active participation and notable contributions during the Future Sustainability Week. The event was attended by the Scientific Assistant and the Administrative Assistant, in addition to the Academic Supervisor, the Director of Quality Assurance and Scientific Research / Director of the Continuing Education Center, as well as the Director and staff of Information Technology, members of the Artificial Intelligence Center, and follow-up officials at the University Presidency. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation, promoting the spirit of giving and excellence among its members, and supporting its strategic vision for institutional development and sustainability.

The Continuing Education Center Visits Several Government Directorates to Present the Upcoming Training Curriculum

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted visits to a number of government directorates and institutions, including the Directorate of Agriculture, the Directorate of Water Resources, and Qasim Al-Sabbak School, as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore opportunities for partnership in training programs. During the visits, the Center’s delegation — consisting of Mr. Abdali Dakhel, Mr. Mohammed Jawad, and Mr. Karar Haidar — presented the training curriculum scheduled to be implemented in the coming months. The curriculum includes a set of specialized courses and professional development programs aimed at enhancing administrative and technical skills and supporting career development pathways. The meetings also included discussions on mechanisms for coordination to organize joint training programs and exchange expertise, in a way that contributes to improving institutional performance and meeting the training and qualification needs of government departments. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to organize the First Aid and Fundamentals of Nursing course, with the participation of a number of students and graduates interested in the healthcare field, under the supervision of Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem. The course includes theoretical lectures and practical training aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in dealing with emergency cases and providing primary care, contributing to the promotion of health awareness and the development of professional capabilities among youth. The Continuing Education Center reaffirms its commitment to organizing specialized training programs that support skills development and meet the needs of the labor market.

Conclusion of the First Aid and Nursing Fundamentals Course at the Continuing Education Center

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University has concluded the First Aid and Nursing Fundamentals course, which was delivered by the Masafi Watan team and Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem, with distinguished participation from the trainees. The final day included a practical examination aimed at assessing the participants’ skills in applying essential first aid procedures and handling emergency situations using scientific methods. The students were then honored and awarded certificates of participation after successfully passing the exam, under the supervision of the Center’s Director, Riyadh Hamed, who praised their commitment and dedication to acquiring skills that enhance their capabilities in fieldwork and healthcare services. This course comes as part of a series of training programs organized by the Center to promote health awareness and develop specialized skills that meet the needs of the community.

Al-Mustaqbal University Conducts Final Examination for Participants in the New Employees’ Qualification Training Course

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted today the final examination for participants in the training course designed to qualify newly appointed employees, as part of its annual plan aimed at developing human resource competencies and enhancing their readiness to work within the university’s formations. The training program included a series of lectures and workshops focusing on total quality concepts, public service ethics, institutional communication, teamwork, and the promotion of positive workplace behavior. The examination aims to assess the participants’ benefit from the course content and their readiness to apply the acquired skills and knowledge in the work environment. Participants who meet the course and examination requirements will be granted official completion certificates by the center

Continuation of the First Aid and Nursing Fundamentals Course at the Continuing Education Center, Al-Mustaqbal University

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to offer its First Aid and Nursing Fundamentals course as part of its training plan aimed at enhancing health awareness and improving participants’ skills in handling emergency situations. The lectures are delivered by the Watan Paramedics Team, one of the specialized teams in the field of emergency and paramedic training, using the latest devices and modern training equipment that simulate real-life scenarios. This enables participants to acquire high-level practical skills in dealing with injuries and critical cases. The course includes intensive training on nursing basics, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and handling bleeding, fractures, and burns, in addition to hands-on practical sessions designed to strengthen trainees’ readiness for real emergencies. The Continuing Education Center affirms that this course aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to its community role, promoting health awareness, and empowering trainees with skills that contribute to saving lives and responding properly to emergencies.
