Continuation of the First Aid Course at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to hold its First Aid Course under the supervision and follow-up of Assistant Center Director, M.M. Abdali Dakhel, aiming to equip participants with essential skills for handling emergency situations. The course includes both theoretical and practical training on first aid basics, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and methods for dealing with various injuries. This program is part of the center’s efforts to enhance health awareness and strengthen participants’ capabilities. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.

Meeting Held by the Continuing Education Center to Discuss the New Structure and Next Year’s Training Plan

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches the 2025 Anti-Drug Awareness Week with Active Participation from the Center for Continuing Education

Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the Iraqi Anti-Drug Awareness Week 2025, under the patronage of the University President, with broad participation from academic leaders and students. The Center for Continuing Education played a central and active role in the week’s activities, contributing to the organization, coordination, and delivery of workshops and awareness sessions. The Center supported the program through its expertise in training and community outreach, ensuring that the activities reached the largest number of students and achieved meaningful impact. The opening day featured scientific workshops, student discussions with specialists, and awareness exhibitions focusing on the risks of drug abuse and prevention strategies. Conclusion of the Preparatory Course for the National English Exam at the Continuing Education Center – Al-Mustaqbal University

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University has concluded the preparatory course for the National English Exam, which lasted several weeks under the supervision of the experienced trainer Eman Mohammed Mahdi, with the participation of a group of students and graduates who showed great engagement throughout the course. The closing day included a final test for participants to assess their language proficiency and measure their progress, where the results demonstrated noticeable improvement in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills among the students. At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed by the center’s administration in recognition of the students’ commitment and active participation during the training period. Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Continuing Education Center, praised the efforts of trainer Eman Mohammed Mahdi, commending the students’ dedication and eagerness to enhance their English skills. Meeting of the staff of the Continuing Education Center at AL-Mustaqbal University

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held its annual meeting to discuss the training course plan for the 2025–2026 academic year. The meeting, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Center, witnessed the active participation of the center’s staff and specialized faculty members. Dr. Riyadh Hamed opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of developing and expanding continuing education programs in line with the needs of the labor market and the aspirations of the academic community. He also stressed the necessity of keeping pace with modern developments in education and training, as well as introducing new specializations that meet the needs of students and the local community. During the meeting, a number of ideas and proposals were presented regarding upcoming training courses, including programs in modern technology, management, leadership, and languages. The participants also highlighted the importance of expanding professional courses aimed at enhancing students’ and graduates’ practical skills. Discussions also covered mechanisms to strengthen cooperation with local and international institutions to offer specialized training programs. Participants explored ways to improve registration and online assessment systems and to make greater use of distance learning platforms to reach a wider audience of trainees. At the conclusion of the meeting, a follow-up committee was formed to oversee the implementation of the training plan for the upcoming academic year and to distribute tasks to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Attendees expressed their readiness to work diligently to achieve the desired goals and reaffirmed their commitment to providing a distinguished educational experience for participants in the training programs.

Technology Incubator Visit to Present the Electronic System at the Center for Continuing Education – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the ongoing collaboration between specialized units within the university, the Center for Continuing Education at Al-Mustaqbal University hosted Asst. Lecturer Wameedh Diaa, representative of the Technology Incubator, who delivered a specialized session on the electronic system designed for the Center’s operations, attended by the Center’s administrative and technical staff. The lecturer outlined the mechanisms of using the system and the services it provides in managing training courses and programs, as well as documenting data electronically, highlighting its key features that contribute to enhancing institutional efficiency and streamlining administrative procedures. The session witnessed notable interaction from the staff, who raised several inquiries and suggestions that enriched the discussion and clarified the practical and applied aspects of the system. This activity comes within the Center’s efforts to promote digital transformation and leverage modern technologies in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to advance academic and administrative performance. Collaborative Meeting Between the Center for Continuing Education and Babylon Electricity Directorate to Enhance Skills and Support Sustainable Development

As part of the efforts of the Center for Continuing Education at Al-Mustaqbal University to strengthen institutional partnerships and support training and development programs, Dr. Rida Abdul Aati Al-Feshawi, Director of the Center, met with a delegation from the Babylon Electricity Directorate that included: Eng. Ali Jawad Kazem – Senior Chief Engineer, Training Officer at the Babylon Electricity Directorate. Eng. Qais Hamed Jaflawi – Chief Engineer, Occupational Safety Engineer. During the meeting, coordination took place to implement a set of specialized technical training courses aimed at enhancing the efficiency and skills of the Directorate’s engineers and technicians. Both parties emphasized the importance of these courses in developing the technical and engineering capabilities of the workforce in the electricity sector, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by preparing personnel capable of handling modern technologies and improving institutional performance.
