The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held its annual meeting to discuss the training course plan for the 2025–2026 academic year. The meeting, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Center, witnessed the active participation of the center’s staff and specialized faculty members.
Dr. Riyadh Hamed opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of developing and expanding continuing education programs in line with the needs of the labor market and the aspirations of the academic community. He also stressed the necessity of keeping pace with modern developments in education and training, as well as introducing new specializations that meet the needs of students and the local community.
During the meeting, a number of ideas and proposals were presented regarding upcoming training courses, including programs in modern technology, management, leadership, and languages. The participants also highlighted the importance of expanding professional courses aimed at enhancing students’ and graduates’ practical skills.
Discussions also covered mechanisms to strengthen cooperation with local and international institutions to offer specialized training programs. Participants explored ways to improve registration and online assessment systems and to make greater use of distance learning platforms to reach a wider audience of trainees.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a follow-up committee was formed to oversee the implementation of the training plan for the upcoming academic year and to distribute tasks to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Attendees expressed their readiness to work diligently to achieve the desired goals and reaffirmed their commitment to providing a distinguished educational experience for participants in the training programs.
