On Monday evening, April 6, 2026, Al-Mustaqbal University launched the activities of the second day of the Leadership Qualification Program and the Development of Personal and Professional Skills, which is being held online with wide participation from the university’s students and graduates. The sessions witnessed notable interaction, reflecting the importance of the topics presented and their direct relevance to the requirements of the modern work environment The continuation of this program comes as part of the efforts of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the university, and in partnership with the “Together for the Protection of Humans and the Environment” Association. The program aims to enhance the capabilities of students and graduates and enable them to acquire the skills necessary for effective integration into the labor market The sessions of the second day focused on the topic of motivation in organizations. Trainers addressed several key themes highlighting the importance of motivation as a strategic tool for improving institutional performance, enhancing productivity, and achieving job satisfaction They also discussed the types of material and moral incentives, mechanisms for their application in different work environments, and the role of leadership in creating a motivating environment that encourages creativity and innovation The sessions witnessed strong engagement from participants through questions and interventions that reflected their awareness of the importance of motivation in developing their career paths. The first day of the Leadership Qualification and Personal & Professional Skills Development Program was launched at Al-Mustaqbal University on Sunday evening, 4/5/2026. The program, which was held electronically and is dedicated to students and graduates of the university, witnessed distinguished attendance and strong engagement from participants The program is organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the university, and in partnership with Together for Human and Environment Protection Association, with the participation of a group of specialized trainers. In line with the directives of Al-Mustaqbal University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to support students and develop the soft skills required in the job market, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division organized a specialized training workshop titled "Soft Skills - Effective Communication Skills." This workshop is part of a series of programs designed to enhance students' readiness and empower them professionally. The workshop was delivered by the internationally certified trainer, Dr. Mohammed Ziyad from SERA Company, who discussed methods of effective communication, persuasion skills, the art of active listening, and professional interaction techniques within workplace environments. The session also included practical exercises that enabled students to apply the concepts and strengthen their personal skills. At the beginning of the workshop, Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of soft skills as a fundamental pillar in shaping students' academic and professional personalities. He noted that possessing communication, teamwork, and leadership skills has become a key requirement for success across various sectors. He also commended the university units for providing high-quality training programs that align with labor market needs. The workshop concluded with the presentation of appreciation shields to the training team, acknowledging their cooperation and efforts in supporting the development of students' skills. The event witnessed strong participation from students across the university's colleges, with 100 male and female students attending from different disciplines-reflecting their keen interest in developing their personal and professional skills. Through such initiatives, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its ongoing commitment to preparing students capable of competing in the job market by equipping them with the cognitive and soft skills required for modern careers across diverse sectors.
In line with its vision of supporting youth potential and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence at the Prime Minister’s Office, inaugurated on Sunday, September 14, 2025, the training course entitled “Project Plan Development”, which will run for five days. The course, which brings together twenty trainees from among students and graduates, aims to equip participants with practical skills to design viable and implementable entrepreneurial project plans. The training sessions are being delivered by certified entrepreneurship trainer Umayma Kazem. On the second day of the program, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, attended part of the activities and reviewed a number of proposed project ideas presented by the participants. He praised their innovative mindset, strong motivation, and determination to move forward in realizing their entrepreneurial aspirations. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Al-Zuhairy affirmed that the doors of Al-Mustaqbal University will always remain open to provide guidance and support, encouraging participants to maintain ongoing communication with the university in order to assess their post-training steps and transform their ideas into pioneering projects that contribute to community service and sustainable development. The workshop, held at the Student Activities Hall in the Medical Building, lasted over ninety minutes and drew a wide audience of faculty members and students from the College of Dentistry. It served as a significant scientific contribution by showcasing the latest global practices in pain-free dental treatment, thereby enriching participants’ knowledge and refining their practical skills. During the visit, the university presented its honorary shield to Mr. Diaz, along with an additional shield awarded to Dr. Azhar, the representative of ABLAL International. The event concluded with a campus tour of the College of Dentistry and its university clinics, where the guest expressed his admiration for the academic standards and modern facilities, capturing commemorative photographs within the campus. This training workshop forms part of a series of initiatives led by the Career Development Division, designed to attract international expertise and transfer advanced knowledge to students, thereby enhancing their professional qualifications and strengthening Al-Mustaqbal University’s academic reputation regionally and internationally. Aligned with the strategic vision of Al-Mustaqbal University and under the directives of its President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to empower students and graduates with the competence and confidence required to thrive in today’s competitive labor market, the university, in collaboration with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence at the Prime Minister’s Office, inaugurated its fifteenth training program entitled “Business Plan Development”. The program was conducted from August 24 to 28, 2025, with the participation of 16 students and graduates representing diverse academic disciplines. This advanced program was designed to cultivate entrepreneurial capabilities and equip participants with the expertise to transform innovative ideas into viable, market-ready ventures. The curriculum encompassed the development of comprehensive business plans in accordance with leading international standards, critical evaluation of entrepreneurial concepts in terms of innovation, sustainability, and feasibility, and the formulation of precise financial assessments including cost structures, pricing strategies, and profit projections. In addition, participants were guided through advanced techniques for market and competitor analysis, identification of gaps and emerging opportunities, design of innovative marketing strategies, and deployment of effective promotional mechanisms—culminating in the establishment of strategic networks and partnerships that significantly enhance the likelihood of entrepreneurial success. The training was delivered by Ms. Omaima Al-Taie, Head of the Career Development Division at the university, who holds an advanced certification in entrepreneurship following her participation in a specialized executive program. Her expertise enabled the delivery of a high-impact and practice-oriented program tailored to the evolving needs of students and graduates. This initiative forms part of an ongoing series of transformative programs launched by Al-Mustaqbal University to instill a culture of innovation and empower youth as pivotal contributors to sustainable economic and social development.
