The idea of introducing career development center emerged after the excessive increase in the number of graduates without there being a policy that regulates and addresses this increase. This unit was created on 7/25/2019, and it put dots on the letters by removing obstacles, finding effective solutions, and changing the patterns followed and trends in the search for... A job in the private sector instead of the public sector. The division sets the students and university graduates as its primary goal in terms of training and qualifying them for the labor market and in terms of qualifying them to enter the world of entrepreneurship, as well as developing the capabilities and skills of university students so that they can apply and compete for jobs after graduation through various training and qualification programs during their studies and in addition to creating prospects for cooperation. It works with the public and private sectors with the aim of marketing their projects. It also encourages them and provides the necessary support for them to complete the graduate studies process through international agreements.

Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Partnerships with the Private Sector to Support the Development of Students and Graduates

As part of its efforts to strengthen the partnership between higher education and labor market needs, Al-Mustaqbal University signed a cooperation agreement with Akad Gate Company for the Training, Qualification, and Employment of the Iraqi Workforce, aimed at equipping students and graduates with the professional and practical skills necessary to meet the evolving demands of the labor market The agreement includes the implementation of joint training programs, specialized workshops, academic and practical activities, and professional seminars, contributing to the development of students’ and graduates’ skills and enhancing their professional opportunities Representing the university at the signing ceremony was Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in the presence of Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of Cultural and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Iman Abdulaziz, Director of the Training, Employment, and Follow-up Division. Akad Gate Company was represented by Ms. Jinan Adel Makki, Managing Director, accompanied by Mr. Mustafa Jalil, Director of Research and Development, and Mr. Mohammed Saad from the Media Department The agreement comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to empowering its students and graduates, enhancing their professional readiness, and bridging academic knowledge with practical skills that meet the needs of the labor market

President of Al-Mustaqbal University Meets University Students at UWE Bristol and Emphasizes the Importance of International Training

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to strengthen international academic openness and provide an educational environment that enables students to stay abreast of the latest scientific and technological developments, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, visited the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom to review the progress of the international training program and follow up on the participation of the university’s students The visit included a tour of several training halls and laboratories, during which the University President reviewed the nature of the program and its specialized areas focusing on digital systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics. He also met with the participating students and listened to their experiences and the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the training period The University President also participated in part of the training activities held at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, praising the students’ performance and their commitment to benefiting from the scientific resources and advanced technologies provided by leading academic and research institutions worldwide Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized that international training represents an important opportunity to broaden students’ perspectives and enhance their capabilities in modern scientific fields, particularly in light of the rapid developments taking place in technology and artificial intelligence. As part of its commitment to promoting institutional excellence and fostering a culture of achievement, Al-Mustaqbal University held an expanded meeting to review its most significant academic, research, and administrative accomplishments during the past period. The event also included the recognition of several colleges, departments, and staff members whose contributions have played a vital role in the University's continued success at both the national and international levels Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized that the University's remarkable progress in international rankings, quality assurance, academic accreditation, and outstanding performance in the national ministerial standardized examinations is the result of a clear strategic vision and integrated institutional efforts. He affirmed that the University remains committed to enhancing the quality of education, supporting scientific research, expanding international partnerships, and leveraging digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies to strengthen its position among leading universities The meeting featured a comprehensive review of the University's key academic performance indicators. Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, presented an overview of the results of the national ministerial standardized examinations, highlighting the high success rates achieved by the University's academic departments. These results reflect the quality of academic programs, the competence of faculty members, and the continuous efforts devoted to improving learning outcomes The meeting also included a presentation by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, who reviewed the University's most notable achievements in international rankings. He explained that Al-Mustaqbal University has continued to strengthen its global presence by securing distinguished positions in several prestigious international rankings, most notably the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026. He also highlighted the University's leadership among Iraqi private universities in both the U.S. News Best Global Universities Rankings and the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), in addition to its outstanding performance across several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In a further affirmation of its academic and research advancement, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its presence on the international stage after achieving outstanding results in the 2026 URAP World University Ranking, marking a significant accomplishment that reflects its growing scientific impact both locally and globally The ranking results showed that Al-Mustaqbal University has maintained its leading position among Iraqi private universities and colleges for the third consecutive year, an achievement that embodies the university’s sustained excellence in scientific research, academic publishing, and citation performance The university also secured third place among all Iraqi universities, both public and private, further consolidating its status as one of the most influential and distinguished higher education institutions in Iraq At the international level, Al-Mustaqbal University recorded a remarkable advancement of 294 positions compared with last year’s ranking. Conclusion of the “Attractive and Influential Personal Charisma” Course at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Employment, Qualification, and Follow-up Division at the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the training course titled “Attractive and Influential Personal Charisma,” which was held over five consecutive days with wide participation from students, graduates, and individuals interested in self-development and human capacity building The course was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, in cooperation with the Human Development Trainers Syndicate – Diyala Branch, Al-Riwaq Foundation for Sustainable Development and Education – Diyala Branch, and Bath International Academy – Diyala Branch The program included several scientific and practical modules focusing on building an influential personality, effective communication skills, enhancing self-confidence, leadership presence, and mechanisms of positive influence on others.
