Monitoring and Evaluation of Final Examinations at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to uphold academic quality standards and enhance the performance of examinations, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit monitored the progress of the final exams at the College of Science. This was conducted under the direct supervision and patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, with guidance from Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Baawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and follow-up by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The final examination for students of the Department of Medical Physics was held in a highly organized and well-prepared environment, under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College, and with the follow-up of Lecturer Dr. Sarah Mahdi Ubaid, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college. The exams proceeded without any organizational or technical issues, reflecting the college’s commitment to implementing examination regulations and quality standards, as well as the students' awareness and the faculty and staff's efforts in providing an ideal, transparent, and disciplined testing environment. This evaluation is part of a broader university-wide strategy to apply measurement and evaluation standards across all colleges, aimed at improving the quality and outcomes of the educational process at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Final Examinations at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing efforts to reinforce academic quality standards and ensure strict adherence to examination regulations and guidelines, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit closely monitored the final examinations at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. This initiative was carried out under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawei, the University President’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, with direct supervision by Assistant Professor Dr. Sanaa Abdul Ameer Abdul, Dean of the College. The final exam for the second stage was conducted with the participation of 689 students out of a total of 705 registered students, in an environment characterized by high levels of organization—reflecting the College’s commitment to providing an ideal examination setting. Final exams for the second, third, and fourth stages will continue in the coming days, under the close supervision of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, in accordance with the standards adopted at Al-Mustaqbal University. Dr. Mohammed Hassan Shalaan, the Scientific Assistant and Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College, reviewed all organizational procedures related to the exam, including the preparation of examination maps, provision of necessary exam materials, and the distribution mechanism for both the bubble sheets and exam questions, ensuring a smooth and transparent examination process. The examinations were marked by clear discipline and a high level of organization, demonstrating the College’s commitment to applying the approved examination standards in higher education institutions. This also reflects the dedicated efforts of both the academic and administrative staff in upholding academic quality within the framework of the Measurement and Evaluation system at Al-Mustaqbal University.

The Launch of the Final Exams for the Second Semester 2024/2025 at Al-Mustaqbal University Colleges

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the final exams for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year began at Al-Mustaqbal University Colleges, amidst a distinguished academic and organizational atmosphere. The exams were held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of the University, with direct supervision from Prof. Assistant Dr. Abbas Abdul-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Munther Fadel Hassan, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, as well as the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. All colleges started the exams according to well-organized schedules covering different academic levels and disciplines, with full compliance to the instructions and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring the smooth and accurate conduct of the exam process. The exams are being conducted under the direct supervision of the Vice Presidents, Deans of the Colleges, teaching staff, and the central exam committees. A team from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research also attended and monitored the exams, observing the smooth flow of the assessment process and praised the significant role Al-Mustaqbal University plays in ensuring the success of the exam process and providing a suitable environment for students. The Measurement and Evaluation Unit plays a central role in monitoring and evaluating the exam process by coordinating with the measurement units in the colleges. This includes training students on the exam system and how to handle the exam papers, monitoring the application of assessment standards, ensuring the accuracy of the exam blueprints, organizing the distribution of answer sheets (bubble sheets), and generating reports on the progress of the exams. The unit also evaluates all exams and measures student satisfaction to ensure transparency and fairness. Several students expressed their great satisfaction with the organization and discipline within the exam halls, appreciating the university's efforts and commitment to providing a supportive and motivating exam environment, reflecting the advanced level the university has reached in managing the educational process. Al-Mustaqbal University implements a series of effective procedural measures across all its colleges to enhance the application of measurement and evaluation standards, which contributes to improving the outcomes of the educational process and ensuring its quality, in line with the university's goals of advancing academic education and raising students' academic performance.

This took place under the direct patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, with the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The examinations were conducted in the departments of the College of Fine Arts – the Department of Art Education and the Department of Design – under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Huda Hashem Mohammed, Dean of the College, and with the follow-up of Dr. Ali Atiyah Mousa, Scientific Associate Dean, and Dr. Suhaila Kadhim Jasim, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college. Monitoring and Evaluation of Final Assessment Examinations at the College of Nursing – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and ensure the implementation of approved standards in assessment examinations, the University’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit supervised the final exams at the College of Nursing. This process was carried out under the direct supervision and patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the respected President of the University, under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and with follow-up by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The examinations were conducted in the College of Pharmacy building, with the participation of students from the College of Nursing. Supervision was led by Prof. Dr. Saadia Hadi Humaidi, Dean of the College, in coordination with Dr. Rawa Majid, Scientific Associate Dean, and Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kadhim, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in the college. The examinations were supervised by the presence of both the ministerial committee and the committee formed by the Deans of the Colleges of Nursing, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding standardized assessment exams. The examinations were conducted in an organized and smooth manner, with full adherence to examination instructions and no recorded administrative or technical issues. The supervising ministerial committee praised the high level of organization, discipline, and accuracy of procedures followed by the college, affirming that the outcomes reflect the University’s commitment to enhancing the quality of the educational process and promoting a culture of objective evaluation in the academic environment. Oversight of Practical Examinations for Students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University

In accordance with the directives issued by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit regarding the supervision of practical and theoretical examinations across the colleges of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of the University, with the oversight of Assistant Prof. Dr. Abbas Albawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and follow-up by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University commenced the administration of practical examinations under the direct supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Sanaa Abdul Ameer, Dean of the College, and with academic follow-up by Dr. Mohammad Hasan Shaalan, Academic Assistant at the College. The college administration was keen to ensure strict adherence to academic and professional standards in the evaluation process, providing an optimal educational environment that encourages students to demonstrate their motor skills and practical competencies at the highest level. The examinations were conducted across all practical specializations following rigorous standards set by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. These standards ensure comprehensive assessment of all applied competencies and motor skills relevant to the disciplines of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, thereby guaranteeing accuracy in evaluation and holistic measurement of students’ scientific and practical performance. The exams were held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The examinations were conducted under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed, Dean of the College of Arts, and Dr. Ali Ihsan, Head of the College's Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The exams covered the Departments of Archaeology, Media, and English Language, and were held in a well-organized environment with comprehensive preparations, including the provision of all logistical and technical requirements needed to ensure the smooth conduct of exams. Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed confirmed that the academic and administrative staff of the college had mobilized all their resources to ensure an organized examination process. As part of Al-Mustaqbal University s commitment to ensuring the quality of assessment examinations and enhancing educational outcomes, the University s Measurement and Evaluation Unit monitored the conduct of final examinations at the College of Dentistry. This initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the respected President of the University, and supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The examinations took place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, for third- and fifth-year students in the College of Dentistry building, under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijazi, Dean of the College, along with Dr. Basim Kareem Nasr, Scientific Associate Dean, and Dr. Huda Hilal, the College’s Measurement and Evaluation Officer. The fifth-year assessment exam was conducted under the supervision of ministerial committees from the University of Babylon / College of Dentistry, in accordance with the Ministry s standardized assessment policies. The exams proceeded smoothly and efficiently, with full adherence to examination instructions and without any recorded organizational or technical issues. The supervising committee praised the accuracy of the adopted procedures and the excellent organization of the examinations, emphasizing that such dedication reflects the efforts of the University and its staff and contributes to improving the quality of both the educational and examination processes, in alignment with the approved standards of assessment exams.
