The Teaching and Learning Support Unit within the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized workshop entitled “Academic Description and Its Importance in Enhancing Quality” at the Department of English, College of Education, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Russel Dhafer. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of English, Dr. Salam Hassan Makki, along with a number of faculty members and quality assurance staff. It addressed the approved technical standards for preparing academic description forms for programs and courses, as well as methods for formulating learning outcomes in alignment with academic accreditation requirements and ensuring academic rigor. The workshop emphasized that systematic and accurate documentation of academic programs is a fundamental pillar for ensuring the quality of education and improving institutional performance. Participants commended the value of the topics discussed, stressing the importance of collaborative efforts to continuously update academic data and enhance the quality of educational outcomes.
