An Exceptional Action Plan to Achieve Comprehensive Readiness for Institutional Accreditation

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department has launched a comprehensive, time-bound action plan to fulfill the requirements for institutional accreditation and enhance overall readiness for the upcoming evaluation visit. The plan comprises three main phases, beginning with reviewing and identifying files and evidence within the Quality Assurance Department and pinpointing any deficiencies. This is followed by directing the relevant colleges and departments to complete the required procedures and documentation, and monitoring their implementation. The plan concludes with a final audit and on-site verification phase to ensure that the documentation aligns with actual practices. The objective of these procedures extends beyond simply completing paperwork; it encompasses ensuring the practical and on-site application of all quality and institutional accreditation standards.

Al-Mustaqbal University and the National Center for Administrative Development Explore Cooperation in Training and Professional Qualification in Line with International Standards

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to expand its institutional partnerships and strengthen integration with national institutions, a delegation from the University visited the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology at the Ministry of Planning. The visit aimed to activate the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two parties and translate it into impactful training and development programs and initiatives with sustainable institutional outcomes. The University delegation included Prof. Dr. Wael Jabbar Al-Nadawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department. During the visit, a series of meetings were held with officials at the Center to discuss mechanisms for implementing the provisions of the memorandum of cooperation and to identify practical areas for partnership in training, professional development, capacity building, and qualification in accordance with international specifications and standards, particularly ISO standards. Both parties emphasized the importance of moving the cooperation beyond the framework of the agreement toward an effective implementation-oriented partnership based on specialized programs, knowledge transfer, and skills development. Such efforts are expected to contribute to enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative staff, strengthening quality assurance and continuous improvement practices, and improving institutional readiness to meet accreditation requirements, institutional development objectives, and international standards. These efforts will ultimately support the establishment of a more efficient and sustainable working environment. This initiative represents an extension of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of building effective strategic partnerships with national institutions and leveraging academic and professional expertise to support institutional development and capacity-building initiatives. It also reflects the University’s commitment to contributing to national development objectives and promoting a culture of quality and institutional excellence.

This Wednesday morning, the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance held a meeting with institutional accreditation standards officers to clarify workflow mechanisms, standardize implementation and follow-up procedures, and address standard requirements alongside strategies for documenting relevant evidence and data. The meeting emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between standards officers and relevant entities across the university presidency and colleges. Discussions focused on adopting a clear methodology to monitor progress, identify and address operational gaps, and ultimately strengthen institutional readiness to fulfill all accreditation requirements

Almustaqbal University Celebrates National Programmatic Accreditation of Anesthesia Techniques Program

Almustaqbal University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, celebrated the National Programmatic Accreditation of the Bachelor’s Program in the Anesthesia Techniques Department, welcoming the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies and the department’s staff on this occasion. The President commended the joint efforts of the College, the Department, and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the University’s commitment to academic quality and accreditation standards, as well as its dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement across its academic programs. The meeting concluded with certificates of appreciation presented to the Dean and the department’s staff in recognition of their efforts and contribution to this achievement.

Almustaqbal University Council Reviews Key Achievements and Preparations for the Upcoming Academic Year

The Almustaqbal University Council held its 12th session for the 2025–2026 academic year, chaired by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of the University, to discuss key academic, scientific, and administrative matters and review the university’s major achievements throughout the academic year. The session was attended by the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department, who presented an overview of the department’s performance and its efforts to support institutional development and strengthen quality standards. The Council also reviewed major achievements in academic accreditation, scientific research, national and international rankings, and academic partnerships. The session further addressed preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, with an emphasis on continuing to enhance academic and administrative performance and advancing Almustaqbal University’s commitment to quality, excellence, and institutional development.

Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Participates in Meeting of Scientific Committees and Research Centers

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department participated in the meeting chaired by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, and the directors of departments, divisions, and research centers at the University Presidency. The meeting discussed the key achievements accomplished during the summer vacation, the programs and plans prepared for the upcoming academic year, as well as reviewing the implementation rates of scientific and research plans and identifying the remaining activities, in preparation for compiling a comprehensive summary to be submitted to the University Council. Representatives of the scientific units and research centers presented the most significant programs, projects, and achievements accomplished. The University President emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified timelines and continuing to implement plans in accordance with clear performance indicators, in a manner that contributes to enhancing institutional performance and strengthening Al-Mustaqbal University’s academic and research standing. The participation of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department reflects its role in monitoring institutional performance, supporting planning, follow-up, and evaluation, and strengthening alignment between planned objectives and actual achievements, in line with the University’s commitment to continuous improvement and institutional excellence.
