The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University aims to provide a variety of educational and training courses and workshops specifically designed to develop the university’s administrative, teaching and student cadres, thus contributing to enhancing their professional and academic skills. The center is also committed to providing educational, technical and developmental opportunities for young people of all ages, in an effort to support their journey towards excellence in various fields. By adopting the latest learning methods and using innovative technologies, the center seeks to enable individuals to acquire the skills and knowledge that enhance their opportunities in the Iraqi market and achieve their future aspirations.

Objectives of Continuing Education

Al-Mustaqbal University, and through the Center of Continuing Education, seeks to effectively participate in the Community Development Processes by expanding the base of those who might benefit from the Center’s Services comprising all parts of Society, and this can be carried out through the provision of different types of Training, Advisory, and Technical Services. Objectives can be summarized as follows: 1. Being Open to Society by devoting all capabilities available at the University to raise the Community Members Level in the various Fields of Culture & Science. 2. Promoting the Institutional Performance & Competitiveness through the provision of Applied Training Programs of High Quality. 3. Participating in the Professional Development through the adoption of well-designed programs that fully employ the Human and Technical Capabilities available at the University, that can be implemented in the form of Training Courses, Workshops, and Symposiums specialized in different fields. 4. Making use of all Distinguished & Creative Community Cadres in order to provide various Programs that aim to develop Skills and Experiences of the Society Members. 5. Promoting Mutual Professional Partnerships with Universities and other Local Institutions that could participate in the Social Development.

Al-Mustaqbal University launches specialized programs to develop the skills of its academic and administrative staff

As part of its continuous efforts to enhance the efficiency of its academic and administrative staff, Al-Mustaqbal University launched three specialized courses aimed at developing skills in various fields, including: 1. Quality and Academic Accreditation 2. Examination Committee Management 3. Scientific Research Skills These training programs were implemented under the direct supervision of: • Professor Dr. Munther Fadel, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs • Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs • Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center The courses were presented by a group of specialized trainers in these fields, and participants are granted certificates accredited by the Continuing Education Center at the university. This initiative comes within the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance institutional performance and support innovation and excellence in academic and administrative work.


Launching of student clubs activities at the Continuing Education Center

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized today the launch ceremony of student clubs, as part of the activities of the fourth annual book fair, as part of the university s efforts to enhance student activities and develop students capabilities in various academic and cultural fields. The ceremony included a comprehensive presentation of student clubs, attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and the center s officials. The heads of clubs from various faculties of the university, such as Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Medical Systems, reviewed the visions and goals of their clubs, in addition to their future plans to develop their activities in line with students needs and aspirations. The student clubs that were launched: 1. Arts Club: to support and develop artistic talents in various creative fields. 2. Sustainable Development Club: to spread awareness of the importance of environmental and social sustainability. 3. Medical Sciences Club: to enhance scientific research and exchange knowledge in medical and health fields. 4. Technology Club: to develop technical skills and innovation in the fields of modern technology. 5. Entrepreneurship Club: To support entrepreneurial ideas and stimulate the spirit of initiative among students. 6. English Language Club: To develop language skills and enhance students’ abilities in academic communication


The University President leads a field visit to the Sustainable Development Laboratory (SDG-Lab) for trainees of the “Developing Youth Skills in Sustainable Development” course

As part of the training course activities to develop youth skills in sustainable development, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the respected President of the University, paid a field visit to the Sustainable Development Laboratory "SDG-Lab" accompanied by the course trainees from the medical, engineering and humanitarian sectors. During the visit, His Excellency led interactive sessions for each sector, in which case studies submitted by the colleges were discussed according to the different specializations, highlighting the goals of sustainable development and their applied practices in the various specialized aspects. The field visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center and supervisor of the course. The specialized trainers: Eng. Khaled Al-Salehi, Director of the Sustainable Development Division, Prof. Dr. Iman Abdel Aziz, Prof. Dr. Mazen Hadi, and Dr. Elaf Salah, also participated in interacting with the trainees during the field visit. It is worth noting that the training course is organized by the Continuing Education Center and lasts for 5 days, at the end of which the trainees receive a certificate accredited by the center.
