Members of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit Participate in Organizing the 11th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the organizing committee of the 11th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports, held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, from 10 to 11 October 2026, under the theme “Arab Women’s Sports: Science That Drives Change.” The participation of the Unit’s members came as part of the University’s efforts to support scientific and academic events and contribute to enhancing institutional quality and developing the scientific and organizational practices involved in conference management. As part of the organizing committee’s activities, Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alam chaired the Secretariat Committee, while Programmer Ruqaya Fadel Hussein served as a member of the Secretariat Committee, contributing to the organizational and administrative efforts supporting the successful conduct of the conference. Members of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit also contributed to preparing the report on the conference themes, which covered nine diverse scientific areas, including technology and sustainable women’s sports, women’s physical and psychological health, modern techniques in complementary and alternative medicine, the interaction between computer science and sports, and digital transformation and sustainability in the sports sector. This participation reflects the Measurement and Evaluation Unit’s commitment to supporting the success of the University’s scientific activities, promoting scientific research, and enhancing the quality of academic and institutional performance.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit Monitors Academic and Scientific Activities at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance the quality of education and monitor the implementation of academic plans, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit continues to follow up on educational and scientific activities across the departments of the College of Science. These efforts contribute to documenting academic achievements and supporting the continuous improvement of educational performance in accordance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. The follow-up activities included monitoring laboratory experiments and practical sessions in the Department of Biochemistry, which help students develop their scientific and practical skills. They also covered the introductory campaigns organized by the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems to welcome new students and introduce them to the specialization and its future career prospects. In addition, the Unit followed up on meetings held by the Department of Forensic Evidence with student representatives to strengthen communication, address academic needs, and discuss students’ concerns and suggestions. These activities form part of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit’s ongoing efforts to monitor educational practices across colleges and academic departments and document their achievements in support of evaluating performance and achieving the intended learning outcomes. As part of the training program on electronic grading, and within the activities of the second workshop held on May 4, organized by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, the session addressed the design of the Bubble Sheet and its application, in addition to a detailed explanation of how to operate the scanner and use it in the grading process. The workshop lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Riam Thaer Ahmed, Rapporteur of the Forensic Evidence Department. The workshop included a practical application by the participants, involving a complete experimental implementation of the electronic grading process, along with a discussion of common errors and responses to participants’ questions. The workshop targeted academic and administrative staff involved in the examination process and aimed to enhance their skills in using modern technologies for electronic grading, thereby improving accuracy and efficiency, reducing time and effort, and aligning with the digital transformation trends in educational institutions.
